Class Standards and Design Thinking
Standards:
In this class, we will be using the Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students (MITECS) also known as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. For each standard, you will write a 3 to 5-sentence paragraph. Please use this link to create your paragraphs.
I will set a learning goal.
I will think if i achieved what I wanted to learn.
I will use tools around me to achieve what I am trying to learn.
I can safely choose what I share on the internet.
I can tell the differences between personal and private information in person or online.
I can ask a teacher or guardian for help with websites if I need help or if I am unsure about the app.
I can search for information on Google to help me with my studies.
I can use the recent stuff I searched and go back and look at it again.
I can come up with what i would like to search up.
I can think about ideas for the answers or questions I have.
I focus on the task I was given until it is finish's or almost finisht
I can create stuff to solve problems like making wall mounts for stuff to temporarily put them away.
I can use tanker modeling to create 3d models.
I can come up with solutions to problems.
I can program my Spero to make it go around obstacles and drive by its self.
I can use pre made parts to create something knew that me and my group made.
I can make my ideas on google slides or Tanker 3d modeling.
I can present my ideas for class on google slides to the class.
7. Global Collaborator I can use the texting app to interact with people far away. I can help my group by enacting with them and finish the project with them.
I can learn about issues around the world by watching the news on the tv.
You will need to Google “Design Thinking” and then write a 3 to 5-sentence paragraph showing your understanding of the concept.
