Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team? team

What materials will you need for your project? cardboard a rubber band rc prop and maybe paint

What is your plan to create in this project? A working cardboard air plane

What unique qualities will your project have? The ability to fly and land and hopefully have an successful flight.

Day one

Me and my partner made sketches for our custom air plane.

Day two

I modified the blue print and started to build the wings for the air craft

Day 3

My partner came back and he chaned his minde and wanted to build the game ski ball.

Day 4

I really wanted to build a plane so I asked my other friend if he wanted to help me and he said yes but I still helped my other friend tho.

Day 5

I finisht the wings and glued them to the plane my friend made and added detail to the wings and body of the air plane.

Day6

Me and my partner made the tall for the air craft and I made the back whings.

Day 7

Me and my friend made a support and panel for the fuselage and I made a roundish nose for the front of the air plane and my friend made a new guy to pilot the plane to.

Day 8

My friend was,nt here today so my other friend helped me tap the nose to the plane and put on the ruter and make it so it can fly and added supports to the supports and landing gear! I also made alerons fore the wings and a thing for the ruter so it can move.I also started to do a i move video about making it, and the last day I was able to work on it. :[

Using _cardboard and a heck tun of hot glue, duck tape, I created a working glider because I was vary dedicated to making a working airplane, and it is also because the thing I wanted to make pretty bad when me and my partner where making the blue print.
During this process, I learned that making things out of cardboard and seeing your design work is fun and makes the day go by fast.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because my air plane was vary complexly built and successful.
A challenge I overcame on this project was that the air plane was vary tall heavy and did not fly as successfully in the first video. I was able to do it by adding weight to the nose and then I took another video and it flew successfully.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change is putting paint on the air craft . The reason why I would put paint on it is because it would look nicer.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School with Engineering and Design
My project connects to careers in the future because people made airplanes and design models for future vehicles.
