Daily Log
Day 1- Me and my partner started planning our project and what we wanted to create as well as starting our practice pieces.
Day 2- Me and my partner started creating the mold and creating the crayon
Day 3- Me and my partner took pictures and worked on the crayon
Day 4- Me and my partner finished the crayon and wanted to try another one
Day 5- Me and my partner worked on our websites
This is the crayon being made. We used a hot glue gun to melt the crayon.

Using crayons and a hot glue gun, I created a new crayon because I wanted to see if you could melt a crayon in a hot glue gun.
During this process, I learned that crayons can be used in hot glue guns to melt it down.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because I used tools around the room to create a piece of work that could express me and my partners creativity.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the crayon out of the hot glue gun. I was able to do it by shoving a toothpick to add pressure on the crayon to the warm part of the hot glue gun.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big the mold is. The reason why I would change it is because using a big mold took to much time.
