Daily Log:

Day 1: I fiddled around with the tinker CAD software not really sure what i was doing.

Day 2: I figured out what i wanted to make and started to design it using the squares.

Day 3: I changed the coloring on my Keychain and grouped the shapes together.

Day 4: I finished up the Keychain and lined all of the shapes together.

Day 5: I had to fix the shapes of the project making the height and width equivalent.

Using Tinker CAD and a 3D Printer, I created a Keychain using the Notre Dame logo. Because I thought it would be cool and exciting to create.
During this process, I learned how to group shapes and change shapes.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner. Because I had to think of the process of what I was gonna make and how I was gonna make it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was difficulty using the software due to lack of experience. The way I was able to overcome it was by trial and error and just making mistakes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the object I made. The reason why I would change it is because the Notre Dame logo is very dynamic and looks odd if done wrong.

My project connects to the Computer Programming and Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Scientific Modeling, Construction Modeling, and agricultural design.
