Using the Ipad Imotion and legos, we created a stop motion about phone usage because most people today are too addicted to phones to realize their surroundings.

During this process, we learned how to animate and build a lego stop motion.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because we used legos and our own unique ideas to communicate phone usage in a creative way.

A challenge I overcame on this project was falling behind due to finishing up a previous project. I was able to do it by working hard and even working on an off day to complete the project in time.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the backgrounds. The reason why I would change it is because I wasn't able to decorate and create some of the backgrounds completelty and had to quickly use a hastily created build at the end due to time constraints.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Filmmaking, Stopmotion because we used a recording device to create a small short film that informed other people using a stop motion format.
