8p6-Stop Motion Animation

Using The modeling clay, Ipad, and Imotion I created A unique stop motion animation because we wanted to make a project unique to us and have the ability and knowledge to make a stop motion if we need to in the future

During this process, I learned how to create stopmotion using Imotion and how to make the movement look more fluid in a stop motion animation.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because it makes an idea and animation of our own ideas and thoughts, expressing our creativity and ideas.

A challenge I overcame on this project was a bug that would put the new pictures in the middle. I was able to do it by shooting the entire stop motion without the ability to stop and check our work and trusting ourselves on it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of the animation. The reason why I would change it is because we spent a lot of our time sorting out and figuring out why it buggeds so we werent able to add much more animation on time.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Filmmaking, Stopmotion, and Sculpting because i created a shortform film video out of stop motion with using modeling clay to make my own unique  model of a seal and fish.
