7p6 Virtual Reality

My reflection:

• Using CoSpaces app/website, I created a Virtual Reality world that has a basketball court which you can dribble to get to because I wanted to challenge myself so I can learn how to do this stuff and look forward to my future if I want to do this as my job. 

• During this process, I learned how to be able to make it so you can dribble the ball. Secondly, I also learned how to make your character teleport to a different scene. Finally, I got to learn how to make court be the right size and make it be able to get the obstacle to be thicker. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because during my project I used digital tools to make my project, and I also generated many ideas to figure out what I am going to make for my project. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make your character teleport to another scene. Another challenge I overcame was how to make people move around in my world. I was able to do it by asking a friend how to make a character move. For making a character teleport to another scene I watched a tutorial of how to make that character teleport to another scene. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way my levels are built. The reason why I would change it is because the way I built my levels, some people might not like the way the levels are put together. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming, and Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Software Development because I designed a huge world, and I also tested kmy world many times to see if those parts of my world would work. Secondly, I got top build stuff to make things CoSpaces that doesn't provide it. Finally, I also found solutions to solve my problems that I had to make that one thing work perfectly.
