Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself
What materials will you need for your project?
My computer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
To wait for a 3D printer to be available.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will have motion and be unique.
I figured out how to start 3D printing. and started to create.
I made a Prototype and will see if it works.
Started printing today and will be done tomrrow
The 3D print finneshed.
Final resualt of 3D print.
Using a 3D printer, I created a robot toy because I wanted something big.
During this process, I learned how to use Tinkercad, how to remove supports, and how to 3D print.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to design this project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to connect the rings for movement. I was able to do it by being precise in angling and placement.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the rings by making them thicker centering the head and making a head joint. The reason why I would change it is because the rings kept breaking.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Post-Processing Technicians because it uses 3D printing.
