Using Cardboard, I created a pancake holder because me and my partners thought it would be a good idea to make it since it is from a game we play.
During this process, I learned how to use cardboard to create cooler things than what I thought I could make.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because we were learning in a lot of different ways.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the handle to stay on the bottom of the pancake holder. I was able to do it by Not giving up and just kept adding glue.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change everything. The reason why I would change it is because nothing was even and the handle kept falling off the holder for the pancakes.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Cunstruction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
