Standards:
In this class, we will be using the Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students (MITECS) also known as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. For each standard, you will write a 3 to 5-sentence paragraph. Please use this link to create your paragraphs.

Search engines help me find information online. For research I can access online catalogs. Browser history helps me visit previous websites
I am able to use technology to communicate with others outside of my school to help me with identifying and understanding a global topic. I can ask about a real topic. I can make a plan to answer any questions that I have.
I can use tech tools to present the solutions to a problem that I solved. I can use technology tools to make models. I can find the most important info in a problem.
I can use digital tools to share my work with others. I can find the best digital tool to make an original work. I can create a new work with pieces of other original works.
I can use digital tools to create an understanding of other perspectives. I can use collaborative technologies to connect with my peers. I can use digital tools to learn about issues and problems.
