My Story Plan: Each side of the cube needs to tell a different part of the story.
Part 1
One Saturday morning, Mia and her little brother Leo visited the zoo. They saw tall giraffes, big and scary lions, noisy monkeys, and enormous elephants.
Just as the zoo was about to close, Mia heard a strange roar coming from behind a locked green gate.
“Did you hear that?” she whispered.
Leo nodded. “Let’s find out what it is!”
Part 2
Mia carefully pushed the gate.
CREEEEAK!
To their surprise, it opened.
Behind it was a secret part of the zoo they had never seen before. There were glowing flowers, sparkling trees, and a bright blue pond.
Then a parrot swooped down.
“Finally!” it shouted. “We need your help!”
Mia and Leo stared at each other.
“Did that parrot just TALK?”
Part 3
The parrot explained that every night, the animals could talk because of a magical Golden Key.
But the key had disappeared!
Without it, the magic would be gone by sunrise.
Mia, Leo, and the parrot searched everywhere. The monkeys checked the trees. The elephants looked around the pond. Even the sleepy lion joined the search.
Then Leo spotted something shiny in the mud.
“A clue!”
Part 4
They followed a trail of muddy footprints all the way to the monkey enclosure.
A tiny monkey named Pip was hiding behind a rock.
“Pip,” Mia asked, “did you take the Golden Key?”
Pip shook his head.
“No! But I saw someone carrying something shiny toward the giraffes.”
Everyone hurried across the zoo.
Part 5
At the giraffe enclosure, they finally found the Golden Key.
It was hanging from the very top of a tree!
“I found it on the ground,” said the giraffe. “I thought it was a pretty decoration, so I hung it up.”
The giraffe stretched her long neck and carefully picked up the key.
But just as she handed it to Mia, the first light of morning appeared in the sky.
“Hurry!” cried the parrot.
Part 6
Mia raced back to the secret green gate and placed the Golden Key into a tiny golden lock.
CLICK!
Suddenly, the whole zoo sparkled.
“We did it!” shouted Leo.
The animals cheered.
Before Mia and Leo left, the parrot whispered, “Remember, the zoo’s secret must stay between us.”
The next time their parents took them to the zoo, everything looked normal.
But as Mia walked past the parrot enclosure, the parrot winked.
“See you tonight,” he whispered.
The End. 🦜✨
