Today I started looking for the pieces for my project, and I found this one.

I found some of the pieces and it started taking shape

I made a phone stand, and added some designs.
Day 4

I decided to try and make it so the top part of it could move. But it ended up not working so I scrached that idea.
Day 5

I scaled it up so it could be more realistic. Since I scratched the moving idea it kind of looks the same but I made it bigger.

Using Tinkercad, and a 3d printer, I created a phone stand because I wanted something to hold my phone while I got r3eady for the day.
During this process, I learned how to use the website Tinkercad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I'm sharing my projects with the world by putting them on a published website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a hinge for the top. I was able to do it by figuring out that it was not going to end up working out.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size. The reason why I would change it is because so it could actually put my phone on it.

My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
