7P2-Cardbord Challenge

Using cardboard , I created a Barbie dream house because it seemed really fun to do. Also i have always wanted to make one as a little kid. So finally making one was like fulfilling a childhood dream .

During this process, I learned how to use cardboard in really cool ways. Also I learned how to use a cardboard saw. One more thing I learned to work in a team really well.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because Me and my group free handed a lot of it. We didn't use any videos or anything like that. We just decided what the house is missing and added it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was the door of the house. I was able to do it by redoing it mutable times. When one of them didn't work we just scraped it and stared over .

Given a chance to do this again, I would change not making stairs. The reason why I would change it is because a lot of people ask why there is no stairs and I tell them the floating head has magical powers. They do argue with me. But it's me and my groups magical world and there just looking at it.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in engineering design because we designed the whole house. Then we put it together piece by piece. Then finshed it.
