• Using Tinkercad, I created a pixel art figure because I needed something that would appeal to lots of people so I made something simple that everyone could want .
• During this process, I learned how to use a cad program and also how to share files through gmail.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I learned how to use a cad program and how to make a 3D model .
• A challenge I overcame on this project was the shape of the body in the beginning I had some weird shapes and was struggling to think of what I wanted to make. I was able to do it by thinking of a basic body and head shape and tried my best to make what I had in my head.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I made the design because I made a flat design on a 3D printer so I would try to make something 3D. The reason why I would change it is because having a 3D model will always be much cooler than A 2D thing.
• This project connect to careers in engineering and the art at Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program.
