Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a team of 3, me and my 2 partners Maya, and Holly.
What materials will you need for your project?
cardboard, scissors, hot glue duct tape aluminum
foil cardboard scissors
What is your plan to create in this project?
Our plan is to make a bouquet of flowers, that includes 2 daisies and 2 roses.
What unique qualities will your project have?
our unique qualities of this project is that we made it by hand and came up with it ourselfs

We drew our ideas and started another sub page on our website as well as doing our list of ten good ideas

We started building the first daisy. We cut out the daisy pedals and center, then glued them on.

Finished one daisy and the bouquet, then started the second daisy.

Started cutting out the leaves for the stems.

We cut all of the flower pedals for the first rose and attached most of the pedals.

We started second rose and finished the first rose.

We finished both roses including putting in all the pedals on the stem.

We added the bow and Glued all of the flowers in, finished the stand for it and glued all of the pedals in.

Using cardboard, hotglue, cardboard and regular scizers , I created a Bouquet of flowers. We made this because out of the things me and my partners thought of this option was the best one. As well as being the one me and my partners agreed on.
During this process, I learned that it was much easier to make things out if card board larger than smaller. at the start we thought the flowers would be fairly small. However i quickly learned that they would be about twice the size of our original plan.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a global collaborator because we made a website on all of the things we did in this project .My project ties to being an innovative designer because were problem solving and learning different ways to do things.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to create the center of the roses. I was able to do it by rolling up cardboard. As well as cutting a piece of cardboard to roll the cardboard around.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many flowers we did and the size of the rap around the flowers. The reason why I would change it is because it looks a little strange because of the 2 roses and 2 daisies being the only flowers. And if we made more flowers the rap would have to be larger witch we weren't able to do.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project also connects to the Engineering Design, CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in architecture because we were figuring out how to create things. As well as build things. Another career that my project ties to is a graphic designer.
