7P1 - "Video Project"

Video:

Using iMovie, iPad creative commons images and music. I created a movie about things I love because I find all of the things in my video fun to do/ have. I put in things like the pet I want and the sports I love etc.

During this process I first I learned how to use/edit on iMovie. Second I upload creative commons images. As well as adding the add videos to my drive .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being an innovative designer, because I created my own  unique video. My project ties to being a global collaborator, because I put my video in a public website.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to figure out how to line up the sounds with the photos. I was able to do it by trial and error of  reloading the site and how long the sound needed to be and how to blend them. As well as logging out of the iPad and logging back in. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the images. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could find better images. Along with a better voice over.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in social media/videographer/editor because this jobs contains editing, story making / storytelling and video creation. another career is video creation for short videos. As well as image and video editing.
