- Using Minecraft coding, I created a pencil with my agent because I thought that the idea of building a pencil would be cool.
- During this process, I learned how to use my agent in Minecraft and how to code in Minecraft.
- The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I had to learn how to do all the coding with the agent.
- A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my agent to get back to his spot to start to build another wall. I was able to do it by just looking at the tutorials on you tube and by not giving up.
- Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big i made my pencil. The reason why I would change it is because I think that my pencil is to big to add a lot of detail.
- Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Computer Programming.
