• Using Circuit Playground Express I created a cool siren because I think that cop cars are cool and I like flashing lights.

• During this process, I learned how to code and how to make my claybot play different sounds and colors and how to program a claybot and how to use all of the buttons for the claybot.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computer programing because I am programing a computer.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to sent the code to the claybot. I was able to do it by asking my friend for help.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made with the claybot. The reason why I would change it is because I think that i coul do better.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in software engineer.
