Reflection
Using my provided micro bit, I created a variety of things such as a heart and animated animals on my micro bit because I thought that it would be cool to see an animal jumping up and down on the micro bit screen.
During this process, I learned how to program images, numbers, and letters on a micro bit using a computer and a cord that downloads the images, numbers, and letters onto the micro bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I was learning process' and using my knowledge to figure out how to program things into my micro bit.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out how to do the codes at first. I was able to do it by watching the videos or looking at the reference the website gave me. I also had trouble figuring out how to do some of the more complex codes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change is using sound. The reason why I would change it is because I think it would be more cool to have coming out of my micro bit than no sound.
