What materials will you need for your project?
An ipad and computer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to make a very simple model first, then prototype, and then add a ton of detail to the prototype.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will be able to bury stuff, dig stuff, and do tons of helpfu things.
Day 1
Today I messed around and played with the app to know how to use it. I also started on my idea, a shovel.
Day 2
wanted t make a shovel bc a shovel can solve many problems...
Day 3
I made a simple prototype(day before) and then added a ton of details.
Day 4
I added my own brand name with A trademark and I add a bit more detail and finished.
Using Tinkercad, I created a shovel because a shovel can solve many problems and do many things.
During this process, I learned how to 3D design something simple thing using Tinkercad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used Google to help me find good ways to make my project, like details and other things.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the right measurements for the best spots to put my details in for my project. I was able to do it by experimenting with the snap grid and using different measurements to find the perfect snaps for my project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how crooked it is.The reason why I would change it is because it does not look straight and is would make it look better if it was.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D design.
