Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By my self.
What materials will you need for your project?
A computer, a Micro: Bit with a cord.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My name and a turtle.
What unique qualities will your project have?
A program, a digital turtle.
I used the micro bit say my name.
I started to make the first part of the program to make. a turtle
I added the second part of the program to make a turtle.
I added the third part to the program to make the turtle.
I added the last part to the program and finished it.
I programed the turtle and this is how it came out.
Using a micro: Bit, I created a turtle because I thought it would be fun to figure out how to make a turtle..
During this process, I learned how to program a micro: Bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I programed a micro: Bit to make a turtle on a computer and brought it into real life.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing where to put every thing in order to program the turtle. I was able to do it by looking up a tutorial on how to program a digital turtle.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change if the turtle could move. The reason why I would change it is because the turtle does not move and is kind of boring.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in web developers because by using languages like python and other programing languages.
