Day 10
Finished the micro bit and video
Using the micro
, I created music because I thought it would be cool to experiment with sound and technology. It was exciting to see how I could program different notes and rhythms, bringing my ideas to life. This project helped me learn more about coding and creativity, making it a fun and educational experience.
During this process, I learned how to code using the micro
. It was challenging at first, but I gradually got the hang of it by experimenting with different commands. I discovered how to create melodies and control the sounds, which made me feel proud of my progress. This experience taught me that coding can be both fun and rewarding, and it inspired me to keep exploring technolMy project ties to the standard of Computational Thinker because we had to code something in order to use it effectively. This required me to break down the problem into smaller parts and think logically about how to create the music I wanted. By figuring out the coding steps needed to make the micro
work, I developed my problem-solving skills. Overall, this experience helped me understand the importance of coding in bringing creative ideas to life.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to code. I was able to do it by researching different coding examples and experimenting with them to create my own code. By modifying existing codes and trying new things, I learned how to make my program work effectively. This experience taught me that persistence and creativity are key to overcoming obstacles.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the opportunity to do more coding and to create more games. The reason I would change it is that we only had eight days to complete the project, which felt too short to explore all the possibilities. With more time, I could dive deeper into coding and experiment with different game ideas. This would allow me to enhance my skills and creativity even further. Overall, having more time would make the experience even more enjoyable and rewarding.
Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
What materials will you need for your project?
What is your plan to create in this project?
What unique qualities will your project have?
Daily Log:
Every day that you work on your project you need to tell me what you did and most days have at least one picture. Example: “Day One - worked on my list of 10 Good Ideas while Googling about …”
Images and Video:
Make sure you are taking pictures of the process and attaching them to your website. When you are done with your project you will make a video showing off what you created.
