Using cardboard I created a set of catcher gear because i play baseball.
During this process, I learned how to not burn myself on hot glue.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i innovated cardboard into a set of catchers gear .
A challenge I overcame on this project was burning myself on glue. I was able to do it by aiming the glue gun differently .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the lack of detailing on the leg guards. The reason why I would change it is because there is none.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the constructions trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
