• Using my brain, I created a vending machine because I think its a good business and a good food source.
• During this process, I learned vending machines are complicated and not made out of cardboard.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i innovated then designed.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was no way to get the food out. I was able to do it by used a manned Popsicle stick to push it out.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact there is no glass in the window. The reason why I would change it is because people could steal the food.
• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering designs CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in building and inventing/improving stuff.
