Day one:

Talked about the Micro Bit, chose ideas I want to do.

Day 2:

Made my Micro Bit spell out my name. Thought about more idea's for it.

Day: 4

Made a dice and a beating heart.

Day: 6 & 7

I finished up my website and made an 8 ball and emotion changer but didn't take a video.

Using a computer and a micro bit, I created a name tag, beating heart, and a dice because I wanted to experiment with different codes and try new ideas .
During this process, I learned coding with the micro bit is very fun and to use time wisely because I didn't get to make everything I wanted.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital citizen because I didn't copy and paste the micro bit codes and did the codes on my own.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I thought it was so easy that I didn't have to try as much so I fell behind. I was able to do it by starting to work harder and take it seriously.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of projects I did. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to do more but I didn't have time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in software engineering because I'm developing a design on my micro bit.
