Using Screen Capture, I created How To Videos because I wanted to help explain how to log in and use certain apps on the iPad. I did this by just recording videos logging in and creating new terrains on apps.
During this process, I learned how to screen record on the iPad. I also, learned how to split the clip on iMovie. At first, I didn't know how to add another text box in the video. However, I then learned to split the clip so I can.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I created a knowledgeable resource.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to split the clips to add more titles. I was able to do it by trial and error. At the start of the project, I didn't quite understand how to do it well. I had a brief idea but didn't really know. After a while, I fully understood how to and was able to make my project much easier.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made the videos about. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to try something new. The videos I made this time were a bit easy and were a breeze in the wind to make. Next time, I would like something with more of a challenge.
