Using tinker cad, I created a do not disturb sign for my door because I came up with many ideas for laser cutting and then i wanted to make a door sign.
During this process, I learned how to better use tinker cad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I used videos on YouTube to teach me about the laser cutter.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sizes. I was able to do it by measuring the actual size of the board.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size I would make it smaller. The reason why I would change it is because it was pretty big a little to big.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offer Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Woodsmith because i worked with cutting wood into shapes and using it for my project.
