Good pictures of the characters
Day 1

Day 2
we figured out which characters we wer going to do.
Day 3
today we got some pictures copied and typed their names and some things about them underneath their picture and printed them out.
Day 4
We figured out some more details that we added to their pictures and we added another person.
Day 5
Today we finished the main characters and used the button maker and made them into pins.
Day 6

This is our video for making pins with the button maker.
Using the button maker and my iPad , I created pins with characters from the Polar Express because I thought it would be cool to do characters from the Polar Express we had to reprint a couple of times because we kept messing up and we eventually got it all done. I also wanted to do this because I wanted to try something different, even though it took us a couple of tries it got easier to do and it ended up going faster and getting it done faster.
During this process, I learned that the picture cant be too big or else it wont fit and it will cut off half of the picture and the text and if you put the film on to much to the side and will get messed up and half of it will be off of the pin then the picture and the pin would both be ruined.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative because me and my partner thought of own project to do that nobody else thought with the kind of pictures we had used.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to cut the paper just right. I was able to do it by holding the board down and being very steady and slow with cutter so I didn't mess up and cut the picture and text.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the different characters . The reason why I would change it is because I would want to try different characters for the pins and see which ones could turn our better after using the button more than once.
