microbit

During this process I learned how to code a mico:bit. This was important learning because I could use this to make more coding project and code more stuff. I also learned how to make the mico:bit make the random number pop up. I did this by saving my code to my file and then send the code to the micro:bit and it popped up on the micro:bit

The 7 standards are Empowered learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Construction, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I came up with the idea to make a random number generator. This is a goo skill for the future because I have to be able to think of things to make by myself instead of telling me what to do.

A challenge I overcame was figuring out how to make the code go onto the mico:bit. I was able to do it by saving it to my files in the computer. After, I right clicked on the file and pressed send and popped up mico:bit D and sent it to the micro:bit. Then, it showed the code when I shook the micro:bit.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the thing I made into rock, paper, scissors. The reason why I would do this is to have something to do on my free time. If I make a random number generator isn't fun it just gives you a number when you shake it. I would change this by taking the tutorial on making rock, paper, scissors. Then, I would make a rock, paper, scissor machine when I shake it.

This project connects to carriers in video game coder. This is important because this could be a carrier I look into in the future. This could also connect to coding cars that drive themselves. This connects to that because it is coding a micro:bit using a computer and the device micro:bit. This skill is very good for coding things, and I think that can connect to many carriers in this time period.
