Using Keva planks, I created a Castle because I thought it would be cool.
During this process, I learned I need steady hands.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because I creatively communicated on how to build the wood castle.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to be steady while. I was able to do it by concentrating.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the walls. The reason why I would change it is because the were side ways.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in a way to where this might be a blue print for a house.
