7P2-Cardboard Challenge

Daily Log:

Every day that you work on your project you need to tell me what you did and most days have at least one picture.  Example: “Day One - worked on my list of 10 Good Ideas while Googling about …”

• Using cardboard I created a volleyball court because me and my team agreed on it and thought it was creative and cool.

• During this process, I learned that makenna is good at drawing and we each had our own job due to what we were better at.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to engineering design because me and my team had to communicate our ideas ands think about how we weree going to build this.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was creating the chairs because they were hard I was able to do it by help from summer and she glued it for me, makenna showed us how to do it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the chairs were built The reason why I would change it is because they were made poorly and all different sizes.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the construction CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in construction because we used cardboard to create our volleyball court.
