Empowered Learner
I can learn new things about technology by exploring the features, you can use google for searching up new things to learn, students can set learning goals for the future, students can tell whether or not they are making progress towards their learning goals. Students can tell when a program worked the way they expected, students can find and use tools on computers or a mobile device, students can use tools online to help them with whatever they are stuck on.
Digital Citizen
I can communicate with students online for help, students can follow the laws of socials, students can also check websites using their research skills. Students can ask trusted adults or someone they are comfortable with if they are unsure about a website or social media, students can follow the school's acceptable policies. Students can create their own original work by using other students' parts of their work, students are allowed to ask students for help if needed.
Knowledge Constructer
If needed, students can ask about real world issues, you can use more than one source when you research, anyone can use the internet to find an answer to their question. Students can choose a topic they would like to research on the internet, students can search up an author by reading an article on a website, students are allowed to search up things they are curious about.
Innovative Designer
Students are allowed to ask questions about a topic, students can brainstorm ideas for the questions they have, students can stay on one task until it is completed and then move on to the next question. Students can use the design process to solve authentic problems if needed, anyone can find multiple solutions to open ended problems, students are allowed to improve their test and get better results answering their questions they had.
Computational Thinker
Students can identify the most important information in a problem, students can use technology/google/websites/articles ect tools to create models, if needed anybody could brainstorm solutions to problems big or small. Anyone should be able to understand the automation process, students can define and describe automation, students can explain how computers use patterns to process and sort all the information, students can always go back and fix something to get a better grade if wanted.
Creative Communicator
Students are allowed to choose the best digital tool to share their work with others, i am allowed to use parts of other people's works to create a new original work, students can present an idea using a digital tool. Students can convey their ideas effectively using a digital tool, people are allowed to give credit to the component authors in a collaborative creation, students can identify the best digital tool for collaborating on a group project.
Global Collaborator
Students can use a digital tool to interact with others, people can connect with their peers using collaborative technology, students can learn about issues and problems through digital tools. Students are allowed to contribute to a group project, i could be a reliable team member, students can use digital tools to develop an understanding of different perspectives, students can also use tools for projects.
