Using robots, I created a catapult and a party bomb because I was assigned to.
During this process, I learned H is haunted.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I took on a worthy goal of coding a robot to "explode".
A challenge I overcame on this project was having my partner abandoned me. I was able to do it by asking someone around me how to do the challenge.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change is my partner. The reason why I would change it is because he left me after the catapult.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in programming.
