In this Thing, you will be completing four Quests to learn about digital footprints, your own footprints online, create your own digital presence online, how social media can impact your footprint, and then learn the good and bad sides of digital media and how to create a digital media balance.

Virus: like a human cold, something (code) that can infect your device if it isn’t caught and deleted, or blocked

Pop-up ads: a small window that opens on your device that is online advertising that suddenly appears and tries to get you to click it
