Using CS first and Scratch, I created clips the show what I like to do and how to save water because I wanted to see what it would be like and because it is cool to tell people my instrests and what everyone to do to save th earth.
During this process, I learned how to translate things that I say in Scratch. I did this because I think everyone should see what anyone says and I think it was super cool to know that that will actualy come in handy for a lot of people.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because I was telling people things through Scrach and not actualy talking to them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was was how to tell people hwo to save the water without gibing wrong information. I was able to do it by using google and looking back at books that I read when I was younger to learn how to save water. .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the detail into the project. The reason why I would change it is because it doesn't really have much detail as it should. Make it more fun so way more people would want to see it and not just skip over it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in ad makers because I kind of made an ad for both of the topics I chose.
