• Using my brain, I created a hot wheels project because i used to love playing with hot wheels when i was younger.

• During this process, I learned how to work with other peoples ideas.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because i am sharing my project with the world.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making sure the track worked correctly. I was able to do it by adding things under the track to support it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole track. The reason why I would change it is because i wanted to do more things with the track.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in engineering and design because i am desining a project that has to do with building and design.
