today I printed the upper 4 link and it worked. Tomorrow I will print the bottom link.
Today I printed the bottom link and I found out I needed a driveshaft extension. I designed a driveshaft extension and printed it. It worked and tomorrow I will work on my website.
Today I worked on my webiste, doing my reflections and doing my video.
Using a 3d printer, a computer, and an rc car, I created an upgrade for my rc car because the aftermarket upgrades for rc cars are too expensive. I made the rc car have a longer wheelbase. I also made the front from 3 link to 4 link.
During this process, I learned how to take aparrt an rc car. I had to take apart the front suspension links and I had to design new ones. This is what I learned.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I had to edit someone elses design and make it into my own. I also designed my own parts. This is the standard my project ties to.
A challenge I overcame on this project was Trying to get the driveshaft to work. I was able to do it by using plyer cutter and modifying the driveshaft and the part that was printed. I had to shorten both the parts. This is a challenge I overcame
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the driveshaft. The reason why I would change it is because I had to modify it after I was done printing. I would rather have it so you can print it and it is done. This is what I would change.

My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Car repair, or car parts designer. It ties to car repair because I had to repair a scale car that is accurate to a real car. It ties to car parts designer because I designed car parts.
