• Using duck tape cardboard cardboard scissors hot glue, I created a kola hanging off a tree because we thought it was a fun project.

• During this process, I learned that it is hard to make animals out of cardboard.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructer because we had to look at photos and take reference from them to make the stuff we did.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make the body of the kola. I was able to do it by redoing it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what i made out of cardboard. The reason why I would change it is because we did not do a good job at making the animal out of carboard .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design  CTE program at Hastings High School.
