7p2 cardboard project

Using cardboard, hot glue, tape, an iPad iMovie an more extra materials , I created a cat house for my cat because we do not have a cat house. During this process, I learned that materials that I thought would have been easy to use turned out to be harder.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to cats because I have a love hate thing with them.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not trying not to burn my self with the hot glue gun. I was able to do it by having my partner do it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design for the project. The reason why I would change it is because it was a super weird design.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the  Engineering Design  CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in engineering design because i was designing a cat house that would fit my cat.
