P11 Saxon Den

Using The 3 printer, I created a doorstop with the 3 printer, because we needed to come up with something to sell at our Saxon store and we came up with a doorstop for our item. During this process, I learned that finding something to sell is hard because you need to gear what your making toward the generation you are selling to or targeting. My project is tied to Empowered Learner because i chose what i wanted to design, Knowledge Constructor because I looked on the web for designs to get an idea, Innovative Design because i used the design process to create my project by testing and making adjustments, Computational Thinker because i had a problem and i thought of a solution and designed it. A challenge i over came on this project was trying to find something i thought these kids or teachers would buy in the Saxon store. I was able to do it by thinking about it and brainstorming with Gavin on what we should make. Given a chance to do this again, i would change the product we created or what we created it with, i would make it out of wood or some other material. The reason i would change this is because i have used 3d printer film. This project connect to careers in sales because you could think about who you are selling to like i had to.
