8P5-Delightex

Using Delightex, I created a VR headset maze game because It looked really fun to do with one of my friends and which it was. Ive seen some other people do it and it looked really cool. ive also never have done it before and wanted to try it.

During this process, I learned how to use Delightex and how to make the characters have a text bubble above them. The last thing i've learned was how to copy the wall so I dont keep having to go and get a new wall and keep changing it to be like the other wall.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made VR game and I got to share my ideas to the world. I also used a lot of the digital tools the website gave me an example is the copy and paste button and the double tap button on a character to have a text bubble over them.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to copy and paste a wall so I dont have to keep getting a different one every time. I was able to do it by the help with my friend. he taught me how to do it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what theme I did for this, I would make a hockey rink or a football stadium. The reason why I would change it is because I play both of these sports and I think it would be really cool to do and really fun to do.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in VR Game developer because they make Vr games and do coding and they also do implement VR locomotion, hand/eye tracking. This connects to my project because I got to make a VR game
