7P8-Makey Makey

Using Makey Makey, I created a control for the snake game it would be able to move the snake, up, down, left, and right. I had created it because, it looked challenging.

During this process, I learned that you have to have a cord that is connected to earth . I also had learned that if the earth and the arrow cords are not connected it doesn't work. so it needs to have a earth and the other cord connected to something to allow it to work.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I created a controller that works with the snake game. So if you if you need it, it would probably work with lots of other games.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get them to connect and work. I was able to do it by someone helping me. I just kept trying until i figured it out.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project I had done. The reason why I would change it is because it was easy and i could have done something better. I also would change the look, like make a base instead of just doing it on the table

My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. because I programmed a makey makey to control the snake My project connects to careers in controllers, and anything where you have to touch it to work.
