Using cardboard, I created a basketball hoop with a rebounder and ball because thought it would be a fun thing to work on.

During this process, I learned how to make a cardboard tower more stable.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because i used my brain just kidding i went online and searched better ways to make it sturdy and be able to resist hard blows and use my work and work again .

A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the backboard better and more residents to the ball. I was able to do it by trying again and using duck tape and hot glue Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing . The reason why I would change it is because i wouldn't in my eyes its perfect.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in engineering because we used modern looks to make it the best it could possible be and with did on line checks to make sure it was good.
