8p2- drones

Using computers iPod iPad drones and vr goggles, I created a race with our drones and a parking landing test, we also did vr goggles racing which was very cool because i thought it would be very fun to do it with my friends which was awesome thank you.

During this process, I learned how to set up easy drones. we learned how to set it up on vr goggles, ipod. im better on setting up drones now. if i get one ill already know how to set it up. .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker  because this showed me how to set up drones and connect them to the ipod and vr goggles.

A challenge I overcame on this project was before i did this i had no clue about any of this technology. I was able to do it by my teammates helping me and looking up videos online.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how fast i couldve figured the drones out. The reason why I would change it is because it took us two days just to figure out how to fly the drones. also how to get started with the whole project.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in drone pilots and software hardware designs.
