8P1-Video Project

Using I movie, I created a video about myself because I wanted to see how much I changed. also it was cool to see the differences in myself and figure out what I'm doing better. looking at what I like and things like that. this year I feel like I did good for my first time because I haven't done this before. when people look at it, it has to be good.

During this process, I learned how much I changed from last year. also how to work better on my career with cyber security and knowing technology. before this class I didn't know much about tech now I do already. I learned patience this project took a couple days which helped me through the patience of the whole thing.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I used copyright images. I also found how much copyright there is around the world and on the internet

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding pictures that weren't copyright. I was able to do it by looking up copyright free images of the sunset. it also helped me to figure out if a picture is copyright or not. I also learned that sunsets are copyrighted, I didn't know that before this class until I looked it up

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many times I said um. The reason why I would change it is because I had to edit out um a lot. I would make the video longer because I know that I have more to say about myself then just 58 seconds. I would make the whole project longer like doing the best I could.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in content creators. I always wanted to vlog and tell people things on YouTube so this was my dream.
