Using a trading website, I created a simulation for stock trades because it is a good way to learn for real trades.
During this process, I learned how to use stocks.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I learnt how to do stocks.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the simulation. I was able to do it by asking Mr. Renner.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much money I started with. The reason why I would change it is because it was to easy for me so I want to start with money if I choose to do this again.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
