I think I will be the only one making a key and can help me get INTO my house and won't have to buy another key

Day 1

I got on to TinkerCad and started playing around

Day 2

I sent a picture of my key to my email and played around a little more

Day 3

I started working with the picture of my key and got on to paint but it didn't have the wand tool that i needed so I tried finding an online app that would have that tool

Day 4

I have started trying to make the key available to go into printing and I am coloring it in

Day 5

I finished coloring the key and removed the background and converted it into a SVG to put into TinkerCad but a problem occurred and printed the OUTSIDE of the key and couldnt figure out how to fix this

Day 6

I fixed the problem but now I have to fix the size

Day 7

I have fixed the size, added a hole, and now i'm finished and ready to print

Reflection

Using TinkerCad, I created My working house key because I lost my key and I need to get into my house when I get home from school.During this process, I learned more about files. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovater Designer because I designed a 3D key and in the Innovative Design class. A challenge I overcame on this project was Making the key the right size. I was able to do it by getting the dimensions. Given a chance to do this again, I would change How I made the size at the end. The reason why I would change it is because I got mixed up at the end and accidentally made it too small. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Senior 3D Print Engineer Xstellar Inc.
