i am working by myself.
i will need my computer, my ipad. and google.
i want to create a video about me and some of my favorite things.
The unique qualities that will be in my project are the unique qualities of me
Day 1- i started working on my good ideas list and thinking about ideas for the project.
Day 2- i googled some of my favorite foods, drinks, bands, and dream cars and added them.
Day 3- i looked through the imovie and explored the things i could do with my video like sound effects , music, and text and made sure my video was the correct time.
Day 4- i started making small recordings for the start. end, and transitions in the video.
Day 5- i finished my i movie video and saved it.
Using I movie I created a video about me because I wanted to share some of my favorite things to other people.
During this process, I learned how to edit, to make sure I was giving enough pictures for the correct time, and I learned how to use iMovie to my advantage in class.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner and computational thinker because I had to learn a lot of new things and do a lot by myself because we had a lot of freedom but that let me figure some things out on my own, also computational thinker because I had to really think about what I was planning on doing and what I was brainstorming.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out how to kinda make a theme going of some of my favorite things without making it look weird and be able to edit the way that I want. I was able to do it by realizing my freedom and that I can do a lot with no restrictions so I can make it the way that I want.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much work I put into it. The reason why I would change it is because I felt like it wasn't that amazing because I was new to it and didn't really know what I wanted to do but eventually I figured out something but if I had more time with it I could make something even better.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in digital multimedia because it is a presentation like editing app online for people to be able to share things all around the world.
