What materials will you need for your project?

i will need building blocks, my ipad, and a vision of what im doing

a tower/castle

What unique qualities will your project have?

unique patterns and ways of building

Day 1

first i started building a circular tower so i could start on some sort of castle.

Day 2

second i made a second one so i could but a building in the middle.

Day 3

finished product

Day 4

i started on the floors of my castle

Day 5

and then the wall and ceiling

Day 6

and finished it off with two balaced blocks

Using building blocks, I created a cool tower because i wanted to make something creative and fun

During this process, I learned how to build a cylinder with rectangular blocks

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i built a catle with building blocks.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to balace the wood blocks to keep them up I was able to do it by trying harder and harder until i get it balanced and maybe put other blocks around to help it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what i built. The reason why I would change it is because there is so many more cooler options that i could have built

My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.

My project connects to careers in engineering design because a created and build a castle with wood building blocks.
