Reflection

• Using a Ipad, Cardboard, hot glue, and scissor, I created a cool gaming setup because My team wanted to make a gaming setup for the cardboard challenge.

• During this process, I learned how to become a better builder and also I learned how to use a hot glue gun right.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker because my team needed to find solutions and breaking big problems into smaller pieces and we focused on the most important things first and not focusing on the irrelevant things.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was using hot glue to build our PC. I was able to do it by asking some people from my team to help me use the hot glue gun and asking them to hold parts of the build so I can hot glue the parts more easily.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the mouse for the PC. The reason why I would change it is because I made the mouse in bad quality and I could have done better on the mouse.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School because my team brainstormed ideas on how to build our PC and we were finding ways to improve our design and we found problems with our design and fixed them. 

• My project connects to careers in Computer builder because we build a computer from scratch with cardboard and we learned how to make a PC and what parts are needed to make a PC .
